Building a strong foundation in the basics of playing the bodhrán is crucial. Offering positive and insightful direction to get you on the right track, Mance has a keen and patient attitude with students of all ages. Assisted by his wife, Lori, Mance is able to spend more time one-on-one with each of his students in a relaxing but fun-filled class. Each class is tailored according to the skill levels and needs of the students to maximize your learning. Who knew learning how to play the bodhran could be this fun! Sign up now for this 2 hour workshop on playing the bodhran, the heartbeat of Irish music.

Hearthside Bodhrán Classes

Mance and Lori bring bodhrán workshops to your home. If you live within 100 miles of Providence, Rhode Island and you have 6 or more friends who'd like to gather at your place for your very own bodhrán workshop, give us a call.


If you need a bodhran to use for the class, we will be bringing some extras with us. Do let us know if you need one in advance, and also if you are a right or left-handed player. They will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
